Hokuto City is surrounded by some of Japan’s most renowned mountains, offering breathtaking views and diverse outdoor experiences.

Mount Kaikoma (Kaikoma-ga-take)
Standing at 2,967 meters, Mount Kaikoma is one of Japan’s 100 famous mountains. From the summit, you can enjoy stunning views of Mount Fuji and the Southern Alps.

Yatsugatake Mountains
The Yatsugatake mountain range consists of eight peaks, with Mount Akadake being the highest at 2,899 meters. The area is known for its numerous hiking trails that showcase the beauty of each season.

At 1,703 meters, Mount Kaya offers many beginner-friendly hiking trails and expansive scenic views.
